On August 15th 2017, WSG had its anniversary event to celebrate one year since the reset of the RPG.

The event started out by stating that Calairiel was having a bad dream, Darkrai was giving her a nightmare. In effort to defeat her nightmare, all WSG players had to attack the Darkrai.

You were at an advantage if you were in a clan, as clans could use the power of all their clan members to deal a very high power attack, but overall, anyone could attack with a certain amount of damage every few minutes - the high damage attacks took up more stamina and therefore took longer before you could use them again.

After dealing 50,000 damage to the Darkrai, you obtained an https://www.wsgrpg.net/sprites/items/Anniversary%20Ball%202017.png Anniversary Ball. At the end of the event, if Darkrai was defeated, the ball would open to reveal an event Pokémon.

		+	On August 15th, 2018, the second anniversary event was started.

		+	Players were introduced to a new map - [[Alola]]! The island of Alola is guarded by WSG's second ever boss, The Pillager of Light; in order to enter the island all players must band together to take the boss down.

		+	After defeating the boss, the island of Alola was opened up and players could roam it and catch pokemon. Calairiel promised anyone who caught 10 new Pokemon from this map a reward. After catching 10 unique pokemon, if you returned to Calairiel she gave you an egg. At the end of the event, this egg hatched into:
